The Randolph Hotel, now a Graduate Hotel, owned by Hilton, is the crowning glory of Oxford. It has a lot of names and just as much history. The big dining room is dedicated to Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland) a former student of Oxford U. The bar is dedicated to another Lewis, Inspector Lewis, but in reality, they begin with Inspector Morse from the Masterpiece series bearing their names. The entire facility is a treasure of discovies each offering a new experience or its homage to this great University City. This place is a masterpiece for an historic and preserved hotel with great food to compliment the rooms. The center of tourism, multiple restaurants, and even a live theater are only short walks away.

I recently stayed at The Randolph, and everything about it was exceptional - from its prestigious, historic building to its superb location in the heart of Oxford. Being right in the middle of everything made sightseeing incredibly convenient, and the staff were warm, attentive, and always eager to help. I especially loved seeing university students on the team, which really added to the authentic Oxford atmosphere. Their enthusiasm and knowledge of the area made my stay feel even more special. Whether you’re exploring the city or simply soaking up the hotel’s classic charm, The Randolph is an absolute delight - and I can’t wait to return!

The staff were very polite, attentive, helpful and friendly. My wife's food intolerance , garlic and onion, was catered for without fuss. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean - and there weas a bath as well as a shower. The bed was comfortable, and other furniture in the room was smart and fresh looking. We had driven to the park and ride not feeling brave enough to face driving in a strange city and were pleased that the bus stopped close to the hotel. The hotel is in a good central location for visiting the places of interest on foot.

The room was beautifully decorated with the most comfortable large double bed that I shared with my 7 year old daughter. We treated ourselves to Room Service for dinner and breakfast which was absolutely delicious - Top marks to the chef at The Alice! The hotel is in a fabulous location and we had a wonderful view from the 4th floor so we saw the Fireworks Display before bedtime - Thank you to The Randolph and the glorious city of Oxford!

When we arrived the staff were very kind (we had a late booking due to having had a disaster with a Airbnb). They went above expectations and really helped made our wedding weekend special. The room was well equipped and very clean. The location made it easy to get everywhere we needed in Oxford on foot. The breakfast was good quality food in a beautiful room.
